Researchers from the University of Jyväskylä recently showcased their work from the MemCat project at the 10th Finnish Young Scientist Forum on Catalysis (FYSFC 2026), an annual event organized by the Finnish Catalysis Society.
The forum serves as an important meeting point for catalysis experts across Finland, offering young researchers a valuable platform to present their work, exchange ideas, and build connections with peers from both academia and industry. It fosters collaboration across different branches of catalysis and highlights emerging research in the field.

At this year’s event, Bhumi delivered an oral presentation, sharing key insights and developments from the MemCat project.
In addition, Ikonen Rasmus presented a poster, further contributing to the visibility and dissemination of the project’s research outcomes.

Participation in FYSFC 2026 provided an excellent opportunity to engage with the broader catalysis community, receive feedback, and strengthen professional networks.
The presence of MemCat at the forum reflects the project’s active role in advancing research and contributing to scientific dialogue within the catalysis field.
