On 25 September 2026, Università della Calabria, partner of the MemCat project, presented the project at Researchers’ Night 2026, bringing European research and innovation closer to the public.
The event offered visitors the opportunity to discover more about MemCat’s research into innovative membrane and catalytic technologies for converting CO₂ into valuable chemicals, and to learn how new technologies can contribute to a more sustainable future.
The MemCat team engaged with visitors at the project booth, answering questions and discussing the role of research, innovation and new technological solutions in the transition towards a more sustainable chemical industry.
Events such as Researchers’ Night provide an important opportunity to connect science with society, make complex research more accessible and encourage dialogue between researchers and the public.
