From 18 to 20 March 2026, the historic city of Weimar hosted the 59th Jahrestreffen Deutscher Katalytiker, one of Europe’s leading conferences in the field of catalysis.
The event brought together over 400 experts from academia, research institutions, and industry to discuss the latest advances in catalysis, spanning fundamental research, catalyst design, process engineering, and industrial applications. The programme featured high-level presentations, poster sessions, and an industry exhibition, offering a valuable platform for scientific exchange and networking.
A strong focus was once again placed on early-career researchers, providing them with opportunities to present their work and engage with leading experts in the field.

The MemCat project was represented by its partner, Fritsch Haber Institute, where Mino Borelli presented a poster showcasing ongoing project activities. The contribution highlighted MemCat’s commitment to advancing innovative catalytic materials and fostering collaboration across the research community.
