On 25 September 2026, JYU – University of Jyväskylä presented the MemCat project at Researchers’ Night 2026, combining the project’s research with an interactive Greenhouse Effect Demo.
The demonstration attracted many visitors, especially children, offering an engaging way to explore the science behind the greenhouse effect and start conversations about climate, research and innovation.
The event also provided an opportunity for the JYU team to introduce the MemCat project, explain its research and discuss how innovative technologies can contribute to a more sustainable future.
Researchers’ Night once again showed the value of bringing science closer to society, creating opportunities for researchers to meet the public and inspire curiosity among the next generation.
