1CUBE had the privilege of attending the EIC Summit 2026 as a beneficiary of the MemCat project, joining a vibrant community of innovators, entrepreneurs, investors, and policymakers shaping the future of European deep-tech innovation.
The summit provided an inspiring platform for engaging with European Commission project advisers, Pathfinder project managers, venture capital professionals, and fellow entrepreneurs. Among the many highlights was the strong presence of women in leadership and decision-making roles. Meeting talented female entrepreneurs, investors, project leaders, and policymakers demonstrated the positive impact that greater gender diversity continues to have across the innovation ecosystem.

As discussions throughout the event highlighted, the next generation will face significant global challenges, including climate change, geopolitical uncertainty, and rapid technological transformation. At the same time, they have access to unprecedented opportunities, knowledge, and support networks that previous generations could only imagine. These resources will play a crucial role in enabling future innovators to develop solutions that address society’s most pressing needs.
Looking ahead, 1Cube believes that many of the technological breakthroughs required to solve global challenges will emerge through collaboration rather than competition. By bringing together the strengths, expertise, and perspectives of Europe, Asia, and partners around the world, we can accelerate innovation and create solutions that deliver lasting benefits for future generations.
The EIC Summit 2026 reinforced the importance of international cooperation, diversity, and shared ambition in building a more sustainable and innovative future.
